I actually learned something from it. I used to aufblatzt my weisswurscht all the time, and I'm ashamed to admit that I used to use a fork to eat them, but now I know better.

ha!...this guy reminds me of the head of the R&D dept. at work (yes, I work at a sausage and deli meat plant). If you get him started he gets soooo animated talking about sausages.

I love shows like this, where the host has a perfectly fine command of the English language except when it comes to common idioms. Like "cooked water" or "let the white sausage ... sleep ... for 8 minutes". It makes you think of what you would do in the same situation when speaking a non-native tongue!

That was entertaining. Does the no-fork rule apply only to Bavarian white sausages? Because I've personally always felt that bacon and sausages should be eaten with the hands!

This guy is great. And this is quite possibly the most phallic food ever. I kept waiting for him to go "I've got your Bavarian white sausage for you, right here." But no - he takes his Bavarian white sausage very seriously.

I actually found the host rather annoying. Nobody thought so? He must be drunk or something.
