Lithicsays...Yepp, I'm sold; toss 'em in jail.
Djevelsays...So, if I understood that correctly...the mayor was blaming the release of the tape with the officers being charged with only oppression and not assault or more? Salt in the wound...
probieYou stay classy, Houston.

Hrm, you mean you hate police/criminals or police in general?
And do you hate the sleeze reporter who said this video was "too graphic to show" but showed it because "money" is more important than potential lives lost in riots? He should show it to expose the truth, not to whore it around...
And do you hate the "activist" who is trying to incite a riot in the hood? We do know that riots hurt a hell of a lot of regular people...
And do you hate the buglary suspect? Granted, innocent until proven guilty--but nothing says innocent like running as fast as you can.
And do you hate the viewers who soak this shit up and use it as a propaganda machine? Those who say, "Look at evil cops! Time to make an example of all cops!"
Well, now that I am done with my rant--here is what I think on the matter.
My view is this; these thugs deserve aggrevated battery, and the distinction of "officer" needs to be taken away from them. They stopped being cops when they took the "law" and smashed a boot upon its face. Third, this victim should be able to sue the police department. Fourth, if the victim/suspect is found guilty of buglary, sue him and recoup all the funds it costs to hold him in jail and his trial...

Agreed, throw the cops in jail. If that happened in Florida, they would be in jail. Texas, gotta hate it...
But criminals have some of the blame for the 'rough cop' mentality. Both cops and criminals are escalating the tensions in the communities to levels that are truly sad...
These cop deaths occured what, all in a month?

(Funny part is---no commentary on how race was an issue here...where is this activist then? Oh yeah, hating...sorry.)
Accountability on ALL sides is better than hating ONE side...
