Freedom and equality are natural enemies. When everyone is free to reach their highest potential, it's going to be higher for some more than others. It's a natural inequality. Few can dunk like Michael Jordan or sing like Pavarotti.

The Declaration speaks of a reasonable equality of opportunity by the virtue of birth, not a guranteed equality of outcomes, which is a distortion of the left.

As to the subtitle added to this video, though it is true that the Declaration of Independence talks about equality, the declaration has absolutely nothing to do with governance or rights allocated to the people.Actually, our Constitution makes absolutely no mention of equality. It isn't until the 14th amendment is ratified that any mention of equality is made(equal protection under the law).
