I'm not sure which possibility would be worse. Cheney/Palin or Palin/Cheney.

The only person Cheney would bow to is Satan, and even then only to reach for his shotgun.

I notice that Obama very precisely matched the Japanese etiquette for such a meeting, too. A bow that left his head significantly lower than the emperor's, while the bow to the emperor's wife he kept his head slightly higher (she's still just a woman after all).

Smart Republicans would be making hay over Obama adhering to a sexist practice, instead they pretend like bowing before foreign royalty is somehow wrong.
