That's pretty good. Maybe another render, and some filmy filters, and it would be close. Our CGI artist in residence would like this.

Dude, that physics engine looks so PS2.

I know, it's crap. I remember creating this sort of thing on Deluxe Paint III.

Deluxe Paint III? Oh man - I should be so lucky. I remember I was doing my rendering in Notepad, based on bitmaps made in MS Paint. And then when the server crashed, I had to do all my rendering on legal pads, in pencil. Man, that was a lot of math.

Of course, everything was different back then, even Google. But, that's the way it was... and we liked it.

Remember when we had to do our 3D rendering in binary? Egads that was miserable. Just pages and pages of ones and ohs, and then sometimes we'd run out of ohs and then we just had to use a lot more ones...
