AeroMechanicalsays...Of course FIFA is shady as hell just like the IOC, but weird about how the FBI and DOJ became involved. Kinda seems like the gist of their argument is that if you use the US dollar (which ultimately must pass through a US bank), that makes you subject to US law enforcement.
Since everyone knew FIFA was corrupt, the paranoid conspiracist part of me wonders if this isn't a ploy to set a precedent for its own sake or as a prelude to something else.
