Creators Of South Park Receive Death Threats

NordlichReitersays...

I sighed so loud that I surprised myself.

The stupidity in this world is so deprave I sometimes wonder if it is all a dream. Perhaps I should turn off that glowing box on my desk.

Oh btw, a major point of the new Southpark episode is that they actually SHOWED Mohhamed in a previous episode which had the "super religion friends" to no notice by anyone. They revisited it in this episode to highlight that it had happened before. I'm going to have to look up the old episode.

I remember seeing that to, the episode is called: "The Super Best Friends" You can find a clip of it on Youtube, but as for the whole episode itself, I can't find it anymore =(

Can you really blame them for being pissed at em for showing Mohammed that time? Did you see the size of his cock? They wholly misrepresented the prophet's schlong's girth and length.....

choggiesays...

Cooper asks why showing an image of the prophet is offensive?? Because the freaks within any religion have their heads shoved so far up the masters's asshole they forgot how to be anything but a robotic lump of resource-wasting flesh.

It's some U.S. Muslim group at RevolutionMuslim.com that is just giving "warnings" to Matt and Trey by posting pictures of the slaying of a guy who made a movie about the mistreatment of women using Islam as their reasoning... and he's also linking to something where you can find details on a mansion they own... but just as a "warning" by showing the evidence of what could happen.

From Reuters:
The head of Revolution Muslim, Younus Abdullah Muhammad, 30, defended the posting.

"How is that a threat?," he told Reuters. "Showing a case study right there of what happened to another individual who conducted himself in a very similar manner? It's just evidence."

Maybe someone should post pictures of dead Muslims and link to this guys address... but you know, just as a "warning" of what might happen to extremist Muslims. Would that be the right thing to do?

"There is one religion that claims to be above criticism"

To be fair, every religion is like that. And on a global scale, until the Pope took top honors last month, Islam was the most criticized religion on earth.

I don't think people should be killed for showing Mohammed, but I don't feel a bit of sympathy for the South Park creators. If they want to provoke insane people, let them deal with the consequences.

I love that they're standing up and saying "fuck you, i won't be bullied by you or scared by your threats, i'm doing this anyway."

Sometimes, that's what some people have to do to make the change.

By the way - thank FUCK there is a news representative in america that can do a proper interview, allow someone to speak, offer different perspectives without trying to force anything. This guy was like a breath of fresh air to me in terms of american news programs. Give this guy a medal.

Ah radical religion. So weak their faith is threatened by a cartoon.
To be clear: this isn't about Islam, it is about all religion and it's mindless sheep.

Oh cmon, get real. When was the last time you saw a buddhist fatwa.
