Is Tinder an acceptable way to find dates? Or is it just for hooking up with people? My dating life was over by the time it came out, so I have no idea how to take it when people make jokes about it.

It's a dating site where, honestly, the first impression is the only thing that counts. Typically, a woman sets up a profile then waits for a bunch of guys to check the "I'd Hit That" box, then she goes through her queue, swiping "Rightie hottie, lefty loser" and only clicking on the rest of the photos when the first one is isn't definitively Hot.

I'm from a post-Tinder generation too. And it looks like dudes swipe right on 95% of the profiles. Increasing the odds for sure. Then when a chick happens to swipe right...OMG its a match! shocking.
