I want to watch Al Jazeera English but I have no idea how I can make that happen. I've used their english website for yonks. I tried signing up for this crazy realplayer (grrr) account but the quality was too poor to justify the cost.

You can get it in the uk if you have Sky Tv - it's part of the basic package

I love http://english.aljazeera.net/ just because the point of view is so different from other news outlets.
