28 Weeks Later - Don Abandoning Alice (opening)

The cottage where Don and Alice were hiding has just been found out by the zombies.

The music is In the House - In a Heartbeat by John Murphy and is the same music from the first one.

This movie could have been decent, but was absolutely ruined by the awful direction. I'm not at all a fan of the whole quick-cut/shaky-cam style that seems to be so popular these days, and this film was probably the worst offender in terms of that style. There were a lot of scenes that were literally incomprehensible thanks to the ridiculous amount of cuts, and the whole thing was just unpleasant.

This scene was probably the only remotely decent one in the film, but even it could have been so much better if it weren't for the horrible direction. When you've got me pining for the comparative subtlety of Michael Bay, you know you're in trouble.

I liked the movie, but I jsut felt there were to many convient plot pointers. Like the dad happen to be following them all the way across the city kinda thing irks me.

For how easy that house got pentrated though, its a wonder how they were able to hold out for that long.

Oh well, hopin for 28 months later!
