In the chaos of the Christmas rush, I guess anything is possible. But, by 'regular' patrols of security/management they meant once every two hours? What happened to the employee that was supposed to be manning the real register? All it would take is one person to go 'who the hell is that dude?' for them to get caught.

Its amazing how many people don't know what 'mechanically separated' means. It sounds so innocuous until you see it in action.
