I have had wine when I was a kid. What's the friggin big deal? The guard and dad should have just agreed that this was a simple mistake and thrown out the beverage. For those who do not wish to click...an 8 year old boy kills himself when the Uzi he was shooting at a gun club flipped around and shot him in the head. His dad and a certified instructor were nearby.

If you ever bring a friend to a gun range, make sure they shoot one round at a time first to get a feel for the gun. This is good advice even for experienced shooters handling a new gun.

The best way for America to protect its image is to take the moral high ground and condemn the act and those who did it. I am tired of our government not following through on accountability for wrong doings. I am fine with protecting president Bush from prosecution (although not right either but former presidents often did this), but we should go after Gonzales, Rove, and other masterminds of the CIA torture strategy.

At least prosecute them and then give them a presidential pardon. It would make Obama look bad of course. But we should do something that speaks to the world and to future generations that you cannot break our fundamental laws and principles. Obama just condemning the act then saying we need to move on is inadequate.

Agree with all the above. The abandonment of technology was stupid? So they managed to convince 39K people to do away with basic technological advances and lifestyle to become farmers and hunters. Unions are not needed in the majority of businesses in the US. They are shrinking in the private sector and growing in government jobs. They add cost to a company without really adding value.

This act removes the power of the secret ballot. If a majority of workers agree to a union with a "card check" then a secret ballot is not required. So unions will utilize pressure and even dubious methods to obtain a simple majority so companies cannot request a secret ballot. A common dubious method is to simply use a "sign in sheet" for a meeting. They say, "sign in so we have a record of your visit." Unbeknown to the employee they just signed a "card check" and basically voted for the union.

This act makes it easier for unions to get in and harder to remove them. It is bad for America.
