It doesn't take too much working out that if I posted a similar video, even on an entirely different person, the same sort of cruel comments would appear! That is the point.

You "can't be bothered" trying to rise yourself above that level, and being 'bothered' to think and educate.

It's your life, but passing everything by without scratching the surface makes for a very shallow life. That is the point I have been making.

You have no idea who I am. I posted a video, that's all. And back came some shallow guy couldn't even be bothered to read the basic information provided. Thus, no idea of the facts, the background, the politics, nothing. But STILL insisted on making offensive, cruel and absolutely misguided comments, on the basis of that zero knowledge.

I explained the obvious: don't make such forceful comments, especially nasty ones, if you are too lazy to check the actual facts and do the groundwork, but STILL you didn't buy it. STILL came the abuse.

That is pathetic. It is accepting that you have no clue at all because you "can't be bothered" but then going on to offer an opinion as if it has any value. It doesn't. How can it?

I know there is an underbelly on the internet which just reacts and never thinks, but I had hoped that it might not have infiltrated here. I was wrong.

Some life advice for you. Before you launch off with nasty commentary, actually learn something about the matter you are talking about. If you don't you end up looking like you do to me.

If you can't be bothered to research, the decent position is to say something like "I haven't time to check it out but it looks like there are some serious problems there". Because after all, NO-ONE is disputing the human rights abuses, the burning of the evidence, the refusal to tret for country of origin, etc etc. NO-ONE.

But no, you prefer a limp and rather nasty "plenty of evidence to say she's guilty" when you can produce NONE, because there is none. She collected a bag that had a few pounds of mj in it. That's it. They are killing her.

But you are motivated to argue like hell, pluck non-existent evidence, and repeat it again and again.

And you think you are reasonable? You are not. There is something wrong there, because a normal decent person just wouldn't come from there. A normal person would be appaled at the 20 year political setnence (a death sentence for her), the human rights abuses and the show trial, and at worst be neutral. Not you though.

This is defineily the last video that I will post here. For some reason I expected intelligence: people who might actually consider and use what is between their ears. Instead look what I get: 'Can't be bothered, the media will do it, she must be guilty because.... well I can't be bothered'.

There is no evidence. Why don't you just do what I said to the other guy and actually READ the PDF. Why not read what happened at the show trial? Do this and arm yourself with facts, rather than inventing the lie that there is some form of evidence. There isn't... so why are you saying there is? It find it to be sickening to be honest.

The sources are extremely reputable, spanning everything from government reports to international media. Had you read it you would have seen that.

But of course effort "wastes your time", so instead you come back and quote the totally unreliable Wikipedia: which gets edited back any time any of the above is posted.

If I couldn't be bothered actually learning enough on a topic to post with authorityor sense, I wouldn't post. That is better than doing what you have done, which amounts to: 'I can't be bothered checking this out, but regardless here is what I think...".

There is no way she is guilty. Guilty people carrying marijuana don't slash the inner bag open before setting off to release the smell, they don't beg for the drugs to be tested for country of original (they were INDONESIAN FFS, which is why they burned them), they don't beg for DNA testing, they don't beg for fingerprints, they don't beg for CCTV footage when a pic of an inflated bag would hang them.... and much much more. That's even before you look at the show trial and the human rights and the government complicity.

So: CHECK IT OUT PROPERLY before infering guilt. To post like yours, basically suggesting to everyone that there is some credibility which justifies her slow killing is not very nice. You and others like you are part of the reason she is still there, and deteriorating daily.

I think it's a great video (and no, I didn't make it!). They way they've sync'd the footage with the lyrics isn't easy to do from my experience. And the news announcement overlay and Schapelle crying aren't on the original song, so they've integrated that very well.

It's a nightmare, and it got horribly political (hence the obvious political sentence). The bottom line was that strategic political relationships trump human rights. The Oz government backed away, and worse, used their media to cover their tracks. It is only now that bits of the truth are slipping out.

This is barbaric cruelty almost beyond belief: yet some people post as though it was a game of football.
