You're right, in a life-threatening military situation, 'better to have a warrior by your side than an artist... but I don't think any G.I. (or any combatant from the Allied Forces) would've felt safe if the warrior had been you... You scary.

Getting back to our featured Veteran... That type of empathy... in such a crucial, emotionally-charged, nationally-sensitive time, when just a couple of weeks ago, he probably witnessed several of his brothers in arms, his friends, being killed or maimed just a few feet away... Man, it blows me away (pardon the pun).
