For scratches though, please don't waste $25 on a screen protector when a $1 one from eBay will serve you just as well.

I still don't understand how showing it can handle 1000 lbdbsbdsdbs of weightiness proves it can resist scratches.

Plus, wasn't the iphone's screen supposed to be scratch resistant by design?
