I dont think he "gets" mortal combat , his review dosent realy cover the main piont of MK

and that is that it was always the most accessible fighting game but not to an exstent that made it 100% dull to play , unlike with other fighting games , players that dont normaly play fighting games could enjoy and have a resnable game with it , evan a casual player verses a good player could have a interesting time whilst still losing on average , where as with street fighter,DOE,soul caliber, gulity gear, for example it is allot hader to get into and play well if you dont play fighting games allot.

allso this versoin from what i have seen looks like the first one in a long time since mk 1 and 2 to actually be good and focus on that core aspect ( accessible fighting with lots of over the top voilence)

everything else he said is true about he vilonce but its just weird how he neglected the core gameplay in the review.

I am an Australian who imported Mortal Kombat. It took almost 3 weeks to get to me, leading me to believe for a time that it had been lost or confiscated. Then a package arrived in the Mail, remarkably with a couple of PASSED QUARANTINE stickers on it. I opened the packet to find my copy of MK, untampered with, an a leaflet saying the package had been opened by customs and allowed to pass.

There is an Australian Customs officer out there who is a videogame fan ad I owe them eternal gratitude (or at least a beer).

I don't agree with his review (The game is damn fun) but I really agree with the very last written comment in this video.

You can have a guy kick another so hard in the stomach that he throws up all over guy A's leg and you can have dismemberment and blood and guts galore, but nipples are a big no no for some reason.

Most characters in this game aren't wearing alot of clothes but Kitana and co's oufits are basically colored dental floss.

The female character are basically fighting naked but that little piece of cloth apparently makes all the difference.
