(1989) from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, River Phoenix plays young Indiana and gives us a glimpse of his love for archaeology (and hatred of snakes!) in this opening scene. Indy attempts to reclaim the Cross of Coronado from grave robbers...

This was one of the first movies I ever saw in the theatre, so it'll always have a lot of nostalgia value for me.
