Well---I've had my head raked by an anxious crow when I got too near (inadvertently) to her nest and it was unpleasant. To have a raptor claw, like an owl's, rake your hide and maybe have that beak get in a peck too---

I would definitely decide that those scrawny, bony, nasty tasting baby owls weren't worth it too.
