That's right guys, get it all out, focus on all that's wrong intensely until you feel better...purge the hate...then just see it as an attempt at something good, which is more than most people can say they're actually doing besides discussing it.

i think i don't like the distinction... because:

jewish =/= jewish faith exclusively (mother is "jewish", you are "jewish"?)
jewish =/= jewish race exclusively (conversions)

So i think what is being implied is clumsy, altough its all fuzzy anyway.

Arab =/= Muslim
Arab = arabic race exclusively. You cannot convert to "arab".

So... it's implying something wierd to me. Maybe someone else can explain it better. I don't really know why it's wierd, it just doesn't seem right.

I think it's easy to focus on defining labels and miss the concept.
Whatever its cause, whatever it's implying, whatever happens....
flash forward 10-15 years to a potential moment when any one of those children are faced w/ a violent religious situation and they have had a seed planted in them of empathy and coexistance. The odds of good change happening are much better due to what is happening at that school. That's all.

I am always not as thorough as I could and should be... and it's frustrating...i always forget that self-evident principles are anything but, and that sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees.

i want people to have equal opportunity to... reach the same self-evident conclusions that are to be made through education and experience.

so i guess it's a moot point, i do understand what they mean... i just want to blame someone for not saving me time and actually having to think.

one day, the "news" will not be reporting how... significant... it is that kids don't have prejudices until they are taught them.

to have to be reminded of that makes me sad face when that's pretty much where the story stops.

adults seem to be the ones in need of being held by the hand and told to share and play nice.. er, i mean, become communiggers.

the world is cyclical and progressive, so no real worries; im just god damn impatient.... im constantly told my drug preference is illegal and wrong... and my sexuality is wrong... and yet... i have never told anyone they can't do anything (as long as it doesn't harm me or anyone else)

The fact is its all very well and good people living together happy lah lah but if they continue to believe there religious txts then unless thay are bing hypocritical thay are always going to be racist on some level and then spred this onto there children.

most religions are sexist and racist to some extent and most religions are dogmatic. so unless you remove the religion you will not remove the prejudice

the only good thing that can come from this is that it increases the probability that the kids will see how retarded there religious txts are.

Thanks for posting positive stuff like this. All the negative stuff starts to make racists of us all. I have a good friend from high school who has converted to Muslim and she is awesome and her family "are good people".

We need to see more of this side of the story!
