A seagull dancing to lure tasty worms from he earth. Analogous to human worm grunting.

That seagull had better be faithful, cos guilty feet have got no rhythm...

Bizarre. My best guess is the dancing simulates the patter of raindrops and the worms come up, fearing they will be flooded/drowned.

that's one hypothesis. Another is that worms surface when they detect vibrations produced by fosorial mammal predators.
