Ian Manuel was just 13 when he shot Debbie Baigrie. A year into his life sentence, he called her to apologize. That eventually led to her forgiveness, an unlikely friendship and a mission to help free him.

FYI there are much easier ways to make friends. Only use guns as a last resort.

Fantastic example of how 1 kid beat the US "for profit", legal slave system. I know many who (myself included) would have an impossible time forgiving such violence. This woman's courage and empathy is such a huge deal. I hope this gets shared a lot.
