I like his comments about tabloid culture and reality shows. People will act like complete fools anymore if there's fame in it. Yesterday's celebrities and Joe Sixpack will literally eat a bug, if it means being on TV. Or eating a bowl of bugs that someone else barfed up, during sweeps week. Or eating rancid meat all season, in the hopes of winning the grand prize on the season finale. Which turned out to be a year's supply of rancid meat.

I like him, but baseball certainly doesn't make America the greatest country in the world. Baseball is boring.

Craig's great, but... darn it all, I can't get past Wolf's Jeopardy fail. I have lost all respect.
How can I see him now except as a lump of meat they put in front of important people to dispense questions and slow down the conversation? Can I ever watch CNN again?

If you're out in cricket, you're out for the game. I think the point he's making is that if you swing and miss in baseball, you just get another go.

^ Maybe you're right, I'm just generalizing that sports which are not exclusive to America also have a lesson about dealing with failure, and getting another chance.

I think Craig is a smart guy, I like his show, I just don't like how he flaunts his patriotism around, pandering to his American viewers.
