Grimmsays...*promote
siftbotsays...Self promoting this video and sending it back into the queue for one more try; last queued - promote requested by original submitter Grimm.
spoco2says...There was no point in watching Blue's Clues once Steve left. Sorry Joe, but you're no Steve.
But then, Steve isn't really Steve either by the looks. He seems pretty intent on seeming edgy and deep in the interview. I can definitely see how he'd have something to prove if his style doesn't fit with his previous persona, but he comes across as a bit of a dick
nach0ssays...Steve has a really great story he performed for The Moth (checkout their free podcast on iTunes) about going on a really awkward date with a stripper/Playboy Playmate/whatever during his Blues Clues time.
Abel_Priscsays...Like @spoco2 said, he comes off like he's trying wayyyy too hard to be edgy, and he seems like a dick.
jatohasays...I agree with both of you.
What always baffled me was that he had an opportunity to be the Mister Rogers of this next generation and he didn't want that. Why wouldn't you want that?

Grimmsays...I think you guys are being to hard on him. The difference between Steve and Mr. Rogers is that Mr. Rogers wasn't playing a character that someone else had created and written for him. I don't think he had any idea what he had signed up for...how could he know that the show and his character would become as big as they did.
He didn't come across as a dick to me...he didn't seem to have anything negative to say about the show and the character....just that he did it and eventually wanted to move on to a normal life again.
