JAPRThat's some really shitty *music this is set to.
siftbotAdding video to channels (Music) - requested by JAPR.
DeanoVery pretty but way too fast for me. I much prefer console shooters like Halo 3.
14087says...That made me nostalgic, I haven't seen deathmatch like in ages. Screw the cover systems of modern games, give me 100 health, 200 armor, quad damage, and a rocket launcher.
spawnflaggerthis looks pretty awesome, will have to download it. The videos reminded me a lot of quake 1 style deathmatch, though with a pace probably closer to doom deathmatch. One of my complaints about quake 2 DM was that it was so much slower than Q1DM.
Now we have a whole generation of players who are used to console shooters with analog joysticks - it's like playing through molasses compared to using a keyboard and mouse. I think if they allowed both K&M and joystick players on the same game and same server, even an average K&M player could score higher than the best joysticker.
budzos^ I found Quake 2 multiplayer to be a lot faster than the original Quake multiplayer. I played so much Quake 2 deathmatch in the 2nd semester of my 2nd year at university that I still get the urge to run out of the room when I see a green light in my peripheral vision.
Shadowrun was pretty much the only FPS game to allow console players and PC players to compete directly. It didn't work out that well because the developers chose to reduce the accuracy and speed of the mouse in order to even the playing field. That was not theonly problem with the game but it made me not bother to try it.

dgandhiWarsow is fun, but I prefer Nexuiz for death match, or Tremulous for co-op net gaming, sure they could be a little more photo-realistic, but the game mechanics are solid.
berticusI was hooked on Trem for a while.. damn good fun.
