bl968That is needlessly cruel. Upvote for jimnms for submitting that, but downvoting this video in my heart.

This is Chinese not Japanese. Though it's similar in Japan, they slice it's back into sashimi. and serve it on a plate.
choggiethe fish knows exactly what is happening and is indifferent...he is much thankful for the release of blissful ichthyo-endorphines in to his scaleless body.....the bear's way is, so unnatural, and tank fishies prefer this to dirty claws and bear drool.....pray for this fish tonight bl968, and his soul will swim for ever in paradise.....tempuratic nirvana!!!
westyits amusing how people on break.com are going mental over this and about how crule it is yet when it comes to things western cultuers partake in that are just as barbarick ore iratoinal thay are compleaty unaware.
batmanuelDon't you judge me!
EMPIREsays...I'm not vegetarian, but there's absolutely no fucking need to treat animals in a cruel way. If you're gonna eat them, just kill them fast and get it over with. That was fucking mean! I know fish aren't exactly the most intelligent animals out there, but I'm pretty sure they still have a nervous system.
As always, Choggie is an asshole.
InvaderSilI can't wait until the aliens to come and start grilling us humans alive and then eating us on a table. Mmmm Mmmm Good.
cyberscythesays...I'm pretty sure the severe trauma and blood loss result in shock and loss of consciousness (at least in a human). The gasping mouth of the fish is just a purely autonomous muscle twitch, like how the heart keeps beating long after being removed from a living host. You can simply snip the spinal cord just behind the neck if you're that concerned about the fish "feeling pain", and I don't think it has the capacity to freak out thinking "omg im being cooked alive!!!!"
