Its says Blues and Roots music. Blue grass is Roots music.

TBH, I didn't know that Bill Monroe credited blues music.

But it's equally clear that " blues , gospel , minstrel , and old-time string band music and Jimmie Rodgers"
were also influences for Bill Monroe.

Doesn't make bluegrass into gospel and minstrel and string band.

show me a article on blues that has bluegrass in it and i'll concede

oh, and metallica's black album was released in the 1990's not 1980

I am not debating music history. Just saying it is in the right category. If you think over wise have it removed from that category. Simple as that.

The song was added to the Blues section, not cuase it has blues in the name. Cuase if you hold your mouse pointer over the Blues it says "Blues & Roots" this being Roots music.
