Two Ukrainian MI-24 Hind attack helicopters entered Russia and conducted an unguided rocket strikes on a Russian oil depot in the city of Belgorod in what appears to be the first airstrike on Russian soil since the Korean war.
Videos from the attack on Belgorod appeared online in the morning on Friday April 1st.
According to the Moscow Times the governour of Belgorod confirmed the attack.
It is unlcear how the Ukrainian MI-24 helicopters managed to evade Russian military presence between the boarder of Ukraine and Russia and why Russian anti-air defense failed to stop them.
The low flying helicopters seemingly entered the city located about 18 miles north of the Ukrainian border and destroyed the oil depot with what appears to have been S-8 rockets.
Since there have been numerous accusations of Russia planning to stage false-flag attacks on their territory to shape the narrative of the war we leave this option open even if we do not belive that this is the case.

newtboysays...Hate to see the oil burning.
Love to see Russia get a little blowback.
I fully support expanding Ukraine’s border 100 miles into Russia to create the kind of “buffer zone” Russia tried to turn Ukraine into. 100 miles of no man’s land, all Russians must move. Ukrainians may settle there. Turnabout is fair play, and they deserve every inch of lost territory.
Then they should retake Crimea.
In a second story today, Russian troops are evacuating the Chernobyl area after poisoning themselves with radiation sickness by digging trenches, driving tanks, and generally disturbing the highly radioactive soil there. Those soldiers are in for a gruesome death, Russia can’t afford to treat thousands of cases of acute radiation poisoning.
In a third report, Putin’s ploy to demand rubles for Russian oil has already fallen apart on day one. They continue to accept euros…euros they can’t transfer to Russia because of banking sanctions!
siftbotsays...Moving this video to eric3579's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
