dotdudesays...When interviewed, the French actor, who stars in the video, says he was asked to mumble numbers as if he is working out a mathematical formula in his head. The formula is for “invincibility.” The Palm Pictures DVD, "The Work of Director Jonathan Glazer," highlights Glazer music videos – including this one - and commercials. This music video may make you wince, but hang on for the finish.
Glazer has directed the movies “Sexy Beast” and “Birth.”

benjeesays...Good SiftBot selection MLX...I was going to promote this in a few days.
EMPIREsays...What makes it stupid is that the year this video came out, MTV didn't even nominate it for an award.
Which is further proof that MTV sucks ass, and the MTV VIDEO Music awards, don't award videos but the crap-ass band of the moment.
benjeesays...I second that EMPIRE: MTV Awards (and all self-congratulatory ceremonies, to some degree) are all about financial and popular influences; not quality.
lurgeesays...Awesome post. I remember the debut one 120 Minutes, I was floored. I was definitely moved by this.
bamdrewsays...ah, a classic, *promote
a fun thing to do is sing along with Thom at the end; he holds the last note for about 20 seconds.
that UNKLE cd was the best. I bet I can still play 'Bloodstain' on the drums.
