President Trump arrives in UK and is met with mockery, protest, and ridicule. Before President Trump left the White House for the UK he was dealing with fallout from the Robert Mueller press conference and continued drama around the Russia investigation. But if President Trump thought he'd escape ridicule in the UK, he was mistaken. Anti-Trump protests included the Trump farting statue, banners, Trump protests in city squares, the Trump baby balloon, harsh words from London Mayor Sadiq Khan and even clips projected on buildings of pro-Brexit politician Boris Johnson criticizing Trump and a reference to the recent John McCain Navy ship faux pas.
Of course, Trump denies this and claimed there were thousands cheering for him and only a few protesters, but footage of his official parade route during his arrival and drive to the palace showed empty streets with barricades but no crowds, not thousands, not hundreds, not even dozens cheering him, and footage of the main protests are estimated at 75000+ attendees, with dozens of smaller protests happening around London.
