CrushBugsays...I'm awake, NOW!
EMPIREsays...I think I would have soiled myself If I heard that noise all of the sudden
archchefsays...About a month ago my g/f, 2 friends and I were sitting at a red light. There was a horrible dust storm that day because of some really bad wind so the sky had an eerie yellow tint and the general ambiance was really creepy. We are at the red light and suddenly right next to the car the powerlines cross and do that exact thing. Of course the flash of light in real life is blindingly bright white light, and the sound it makes is this horrible low growling that just scares the hell out of you.
Every one in the car screamed their heads off
deathcowsays...Everytime we have heavy snow ice here the night sky is punctuated by brilliant blue flashes all night.
loorissays...in THIS video, the slow-motion reply makes sense, because it's used for what it is supposed to be: showing you something that happened too fast to be watched.
moreover, it's also edited well, notice how it immediatly switches back to normal speed as soon as the man talks.
that's how it should be done. i'm not against it per-se, i'm against misuse
