Alright, Sob story time.

Way back, almost 10 years ago now in grade 8, this song started playing at the dance, and I asked the girl I had a crush on to dance with me, to which she agreed. Well, I had a crush on her through most of highschool, and we definitely talked a lot, she knew I liked her back in grade 8 but nothing more was said of that until grade 11.

She started dating a friend of mine, one I knew since childhood. They went out for a couple months, and then she started talking to me more, more than usual.

Essentially, she told me that she'd prefer to date me rather than him, but wouldn't leave him unless I'd made a move for her first. She didn't want to hurt his feelings, and neither did I.

I was then caught with the Dilemma of "Do I hurt one of my oldest friends, or do I hurt her because I don't want to hurt him?"

I made the choice to not pursue the relationship, something I still regret to this day.

But this song definitely still holds a very dear place in my heart.
