Somber music attends this montage of paintings by Zdzisław Beksiński. EDIT: Sifter sometimes informs me that some of the images are not by Beksinski. Still, it's cool art, whoever created them.

Is that the score from Evil Dead 1?

^I'm not sure where the score is from or who wrote it. In the YT description they mention "Beksinski vs Shining". Does he mean the movie "The Shining"? And the video is titled "Beksinski feat Kubrick". So does that mean the music is from a Kubrick film? I don't know the answer to either. The music sounds vaguely familiar to me, but that's all I can tell you. Maybe another Sifter will chime in with the answer.

Youtube videos are definitely not the ideal place to look at his work, given the stunning amount of detail that goes into his pieces.. By all means, do a search or go to the links already provided if you're interested!
