Ah Wilhelm, how I hate thee.

I know it's like a sound designer's 'in gag', but man it shits me when I hear it, especially in a 'serious' film, takes me right out of the moment.

I was completely oblivious to wilhelm scream until I heard about it on QI. I rue the day it was brought to my attention, because now every film scene gets ruined whenever I hear the dreaded scream.
