Money. We use it everyday yet our concept of it is limited. When we talk about money, we talk in terms of what it does, not what it is. Despite our ignorance of money it rules most of our lives. I recently finished a great documentary about money that I would like to share with you. “The Money Fix” goes into the detail of money and describes how our system creates money out of thin air, embeds each of us with a “scarcity complex” and incites competition instead of cooperation.

Good lord. OK, so if the documentary is going to (accurately) recognize that the definition of 'money' will vary throughout time and between cultures, the documentary aught to limit and specify the term 'money' when it claims without additional exposition that "the central banks have a complete monopoly on money." That statement, made at approximately 13:10, is totally inaccurate given the video's preceding 13 minutes discussion of money. MCDONALDS makes money for crying out loud! Anyone can make money at any time, and no sane person would allege that the process is unlawful or even illegal.

And therein lies the true horror of the problem. No one is enslaved by any other man. I dare say nearly every single person in this video sees their own individual problems as caused by some outside actor. No one is as hopelessly enslaved as the man who fails to see that his captor is himself. Don't like the money? DON'T USE IT.
