FYI - He calls him Buddy, which is Syndromes real name. Syndrome is voiced by Jason Lee. Earlier in the film Mr. Incredible calls him Brodie... and Brodie Bruce is the character that Jason Lee plays in the Jay and Silent Bob movies.

And calling Jason Lee by his character's name in another movie is kind of another joke from the movie Mall Rats where one of the characters calls Shannon Doherty by the name of her character in Beverly Hills 90210 when he's confused.
