YogiI love these soo much...the technical side of making movies is my absolute dream job. However I know I'd get stuck with making "Drunk Stupid Teens 5" on the UCLA campus so I don't wanna do it. If I could do this job all the time, I'd live it and love it forever.
EMPIREsays...these are looking so good. The dwarves look are great, and they did one thing very very well. Because they are so many, it would be very hard to remember them all, but them being so different looking, it's going to make it all work.
Can't wait.
ponceleonMy only regret is that they can't really have Ian Holm replay Biblo... I suppose they could have CGIed him to death, but it would have been wonderful to have him somehow play it through... It is nice they have him playing Old Bilbo, but I'm just sad he couldn't do the whole thing... He's Bilbo damnit!
Also, Saruman cameo at the end there, win.
TheJehosephatI'm wondering what role Saruman will be taking in the Hobbit... he wasn't in the book, but I trust that Christopher Lee wouldn't do the role if it went against the grain of the book.
spoco2Ditto @Yogi, I have bought quite a few DVDs in my time purely for the making of documentaries, love it all... it's 'comfort watching' for me, just utterly relaxing and fascinating.

The making of videos Peter did for King Kong were way better than the movie
I'm still in awe of the city street set they built for that.
