The Fall - A Film by Tarsem Singh

Trailer for the film The Fall from director Tarsem Singh, director of The Cell. I didn't much care for The Cell, but it had some stunning visuals and this seems to carry that much on at least.

Some serious Baron Munchausen vibes going on here too, and that's a good thing.

I will go and see anything with Lee Pace in it, after him being in the dual gold of Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies. He is incredibly likable.

Plus, this just looks stunning.

I saw this at the Toronto Film Festival a couple of years ago... It wasn't very good, unfortunately. It was bad for pretty much the same reason the Cell was bad (all style, no substance).

They didn't actually produce the film, they just basically attached their names to it so it'd have a better chance at getting a release (sort of like what Tarantino occasionally does with Asian films).

Some how this movie flew under my radar. I thought it looked a lot like Baron Munchausen, too. And I loved Munchausen when I was younger, so I am definitely going to find this one.
