The Daily Show - Look Who's Not Talking

Not one of his better routines. Usually, he goes after weaknesses or mistakes and hits them good, and it's damn funny. But in this one, he's kind've grabbing at things that aren't there, in order to have _something_ funny to say. In a way, it's strawman comedy - he's mocking things which weren't said, because what was said has merit.

Very poor quality. I think people upvote The Daily Show and Colbert without even watching them. I've launched a protest. Can you can find it?

*/Edit: Turns out people were actually watching the videos first, and upvoting them anyway/*

I didn't mean to criticize the bit that much. On its own merits, as part of a daily 22-minute news comedy show where often material is in short supply, this bit stands on its own merits. It's funny, and about news.

By, "very poor quality," I meant that for a VideoSift top 15 video, this was very poor quality. The frustration I was venting is that people who vote for videos on their relative merits (i.e. merits relative to the context, in this case, VideoSift) would not vote this up, whereas people who indiscriminately vote for anything that's a Stewart/Colbert clip will obviously vote for this.

(What really stings is that it's one vote ahead of my "14-year-old girl "shreds" classsical guitar" video! Grrr.)
