They need a whole movie of this war. A RTS game would work too.

Ant... exactly what I was thinking just now (about the movie). I hear they signed to make a new Terminator... from the end of the last one, maybe this one will finally be it. The beginning of the war, and the rise of the machines. Now THAT would be cool!
