Eiji from Japan, one of the world's best blind tennis players, demonstrating that "impossible" is indeed very possible. Blind and partially-sighted tennis is already very popular in Japan and growing in other parts of the world.Players use a special kind of ball that contains beads and emits a sound so that the player can locate the ball whilst it is travelling towards them. Furthermore, players "feel" the dimensions of the court: the lines are made of sticky tape with a piece of string under the tape so that it slightly protrudes.Apart from the ball being allowed to bounce twice and the court being smaller than a normal-sized tennis court, the rules are essentially the same as regular tennis.
