alien_conceptsays...I would so do Jack Black in this vid, kill me now
EDDsays...I like your last tag. Although the chords on Tribute were both a lot more complex as well as played a lot more precise than that Chop Suey tribute. I've actually seen and heard people with far less guitar experience play Chop Suey far better, which makes me think they did it kind of sloppy on purpose.
alien_conceptsays...I expect you're right, I'm merely an avid listener and no expert on playing instruments, I just thought the first bit sounded similar voice-wise, but with the JB twist. What reason do you think they would have played it sloppy on purpose? Wouldn't surprise me, seeing as they are more than capable, like you say
guessandchecksays...it could have also been something they just worked up that day or something. these guys are really talented. they need to make another album, if only to hear dave grohl play drums again.
antsays...*livemusic
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Livemusic) - requested by ant.
swampgirlsays...This is more enjoyable than the music vid's version. JB's energy is awesome. *promote
siftbotsays...Promoting this video back to the front page; last published Sunday, March 9th, 2008 9:39am PDT - promote requested by swampgirl.
volumptuoussays...Yep.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...I love these guys. Issy and I got to see them live with Dave Grohl in 2004 and they put on one hell of a wacky show, complete with Bush and Cheney capturing Sasquatch, Spiderman rescuing Sasquatch, and then Sasquatch crapping all over Bush and Cheney. It was every bit as ridiculous as it sounds. Highly entertaining.
videosiftbannedmesays...While I love the D, I'd easily shell out money for a CD of just them playing in tandem, with no singing. I love the sound from :40-1:16...good stuff.
