Home James is a sort of taxi service based in the LA area. If you need a ride home from a bar, instead of calling a taxi to pick you up and drive you home leaving your car there, Home James will send a driver to your location on a foldable scooter. They then fold up the scooter, place it in the trunk of your car and drive you home in your car. Then they take out the scooter, and scoot scoot away.

Brilliant!

Statistics will soon show that the Take Me Home James employees will be the victims of more drunk driving accidents getting hit on Laurel Canyon than their inebriated charges would if they just drove home themselves and the victims of more scooter theft and assault associated with absconding of said vehicles.

That's a lot like Operation Red Nose, which runs here during the holidays. Except, they work in teams of three, there's a chase vehicle (scooter plus Manitoba winter equals nuh uh), and they work for donations only.
