Sword & Sorcery: amazing new game for iPhone

This looks like a must-buy for any gamers who are iPhone users... the style, interface, music, everything just looks amazing... according to Kotaku it will be out later this year.

What? This game looks incredibly boring. By style I guess it is refering to the Atari 2600 style graphics. Didn't see an interface. The music sounded like some cheap 64bit garbage, and there was not much as far as actual gameplay goes.
Definately going to need to see more from this game before it is a "must-buy."

I agree and disagree. I thought the music was good. I also feel the graphics were original and I'm fine with it being low-tech. I appreciate games that don't feel the need to focus on graphics but instead overall game play/storyline etc. BUT the game does look boring. I assume the game has more to offer than wandering around with no apparent purpose. The teaser should have shown that.

I'm sorry but what "game" are we talking about? I saw precisely 1 sword and absolutely no sorcery. I saw no real interface, not much of a story, and nothing that could explain just what the hell this thing is other than a long video about what this "world" looks like.

Viewing this as say, an Alpha of something that might possibly be a game a long long time from now and this is just a preview of the world ONLY then fine. The graphics are fine, I likee seeing them take 8bit and really push the limits of it. Considering the limitations it looked really quite beautiful. The sound was appropriate for the environment and it seemed like it would be an easy world to become immersed in.

With a name like sword and sorcery I expect to see... well some swords and bloody sorcery. The summary and title of this vid are extremely misleading. "A preview of the world of sword and sorcery" or something would be more accurate. Certainly not "this is an awesome game and a must buy!"

It's really interesting to me what a litmus test this is for gamers... some people (like myself) seem to be absolutely turned on by the pace and feeling of this game, whereas others just hate it almost violently...

Para los gustos los colores.

reminds me of Knytt.

But i thought it was just a music video using 16-bit graphics and lucasarts-style action verbs for fun. I don't see much gameplay here, but it might work. Knytt sure does, despite being very slow and quiet.
