In 2013, a team from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution took a specially equipped REMUS "SharkCam" underwater vehicle to Guadalupe Island in Mexico to film great white sharks in the wild. They captured more than they bargained for.

Have dived with lots of sharks, but never a Great White. Definitely on the list of things to do before I die.... possibly on the list of things I did literally just before I died.

I was always told that, in general, if you can see the shark, you probably don't need to worry about it. If they want to snack on you, you won't see them coming
