rottenseedsays...isn't a slow motion camera the same as a "high speed" camera?
GreatBirdsays...It depends on your perspective. If you are the camera you are high speed. If you are the thing in the video you are slow motion.
dr20says...Is it digital or film?
9058says...I was going to say film but that camera seemed pretty small and high speed cameras need a lot of film and I didnt see where it could store that much so im going to guess digital
pragmaticksays...Pretty sure it is digital. They are very advanced nowadays. Up to 2MP at 1.000fps or a whopping 100.000 fps with reduced resolution.
ReverendTedsays...Digital for sure. That sort of speed would eat an incredible amount of film, and there's no place to feed it on that camera. The outputs on the back seem geared toward electronic recording, as well.
bamdrewsays...I've used a simple black and white 5,000 fps hi-speed digital video camera for a project. Needed a lot of light. Favorite thing I recorded for fun was spraying a stack of playing cards into the air, '52-card-pick-up' style; they all bounced off and redirected each other in the air as they were flying.
... flicking a lighter was really cool, too.
Peroxidesays...It's gross, but someone has to say it, maybe Dag hasn't seen this video yet.
"1:25, ooh yeah, thats the money shot"
Ryjkyjsays...Yeah, the money shot was pretty absurd. I love these videos though. That one of the katana cutting the tomato makes me want to see everything in slow motion that I can. I will upvote any of these.
dooglesays...*timeshift
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Timeshift) - requested by doogle.
robertmichaels321says...Great video! I learned here: [url redacted] to make slow motion videos and I hope in a bit of practice i will make great videos as you do
