Sea Shepherd ship rammed and sunk by Japanese whaling ship.

The carbon-fibre trimaran was attacked, rammed, and destroyed by a Japanese whaling ship engaged in illegal hunting in Antarctic waters. 77 people's lives were put at risk by the actions of the captain of the japanese whaler, and one of the most sophisticated ships in the world was destroyed.

Not that I'm condoning what the Japanese ship did but interestingly in a Sacrificing sort of way if they ended up killing one of the activists it would suddenly blow up into a huge issue. I come down on the side of the activists, they use creative means to stop crimes and I know everyone doesn't like them but usually those who don't are completely ignorant of the situation.

Can you sue over an incident in international waters??? Two movies that make me think otherwise are, "The Cove," and "Sharkwater," everyone interested in this Japanese act of aggression should watch these movies.

Definately watch the Cove to understand the issue.

Japan basically side steps international whaling restrictions by saying they are doing research, which is bullshit.

Anti-whalers try to document these actions and press for changes, the Japanese don't like it so they do intimidating shit like this.

The protestors never do anything illegal because that would mean the Japanese won and they can legally get rid of them.

I don't know. When will they start shooting each other?

Also, the L-RAD does not work. After watching several episodes I came to the L-RAD was just an annoying sound generating device and not the mega non lethal weapon it was made out to be.

Ah-ha! Caught myself. You are talking about The Cove movie or documentary, and not the Sea Shepard.
Throwing stink bombs onto their deck, and trying to run a large rope through their propellers is, and has been considered an attack. So the "protesters" are legally culpable just as much as the Japanese.
