Every scene in this film are like these, one after another, like an Altman film, the lives of all of these people are connected in some way by the gods of Gastronomica....Best Itami film EVER!!

The absolute best scene comes as the guy in the white suit and his lover are in a hotel room, they pass an egg yolk sensuously back and forth between each other's mouth's, then, she let's him place a bowl inverted with a live jumbo shrimp on her tummy, with a little vinger in there, so it can flop about and tickle her as it dies.......inspired film, never a lack of material......
