Russia Today: Iran-Israel face-off on nuclear issue

"Does Iran's second nuclear facility prove country is producing atomic bomb? Are Israeli policies to blame? Would Tel-Aviv launch an air strike on Tehran? Dr Shmuel Gordon, a former pilot in the Israeli Air Force from Tel Aviv and Professor Pirouz Mojtahed Zadeh from the University of Tehran who is in London, - in heated debate." [/yt]

i donno, i have a lot to say about this but I'm too lazy to type it all down.

historically israel has been at war with arabs, and Iran isn't even arab. Even as the bombs fall, Israel will be waging political war here in the US for support and money.\

Of course Israel do some bombing in Iran, and then "declare victory" but this has to be the dumbest response to an actual threat by hesbollah in lebanon. But I guess Israel is so smart I just can't understand their methods.

With his accent, the Israeli guy almost sounds retarded, doesn't he? He would have been better off with a UN interpreter.

Sooner or later we'll find out if they are building nuclear weapons or not. At that point one of those guys will be able to say "I told you so", but by then, it won't matter, will it...

Honestly, who could blame Iran if they -are- trying to build nukes? Given the US attack on the so-called "Axis of Evil" nations, but only on those nations that did NOT have nukes, how else would you suggest they protect themselves?

I'm not saying I trust them, but I -am- saying if I were in their shoes, I'd be working on becoming a nuclear power.

Frankly, Pakistan seems a much bigger threat to world peace...having nukes -and- spreading that knowledge/ability, but they're our ally, aren't they?
