Ron Paul on "Face the Nation" 11-11-07

"Face the Nation" lets Ron Paul talk a bit about his issues.

Sheesh, once again an interviewer (old white dood) not in the loop. I love the look on the interviewers face, like he can't comprehend the whole internet thing or that someone not affiliated with Paul would raise that much money.

Every interviewer has the same line/tone: WHAT, you don't think IRAN is a threat ?????

I like how Ron puts Iran in perspective by bringing up Russia, he sounds very intelligent and his take on foreign policy is spot on. Unfortunately I think his administration would be the worst we could ask for the environment.

and what the fuck is what that last question?
"do you really believe you have a chance?"

FUCK YOU interviewer!

Despite the fact that that guy from cbs was a total azzhole, Ron Paul handled him quite well. He turned every rude insinuation and question around and put that putz where he belongs. While other candidates could have avoided the rudeness, Paul is one of the few (or the only one) who could turn the point around 180 degrees and neutralize an attacker. Some who speaks so clearly and frankly without hesitation surely stands above the the stammerers who vie for the presidency. I would guess many of his positions would be welcomed by international leaders.

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)

Some of his ideas do come across as being a bit "out there" but damn - it sure couldn't be any worse that the course the US is on presently.

Neo-Con ideas are also "out there" but in a much more scary way.

I think his ideas seem so "out there" because they're not close to what we are practicing today. I think Ron Paul's ideas are rooted in the Constitution and what Americas "founding fathers" wanted. Better to err on the side of caution than insanity.

Despite the fact that the interviewer is another douche nozzle amid a sea of many, he does have the decency to hear Ron out a bit more than I expected him to.

I don't agree with Ron Paul on all the issues and I too (like qruel) worry about what a Paul administration would bode for the environment. But I do believe that the guy is honest and would play by the rules.

A far cry from what we've had for years (decades?)

That's Bob Shieffer(sp?)(The interviewer)who is famous. And boy did he suck in this one. Maybe he thought he was being informal or folksy, but he ended up looking rude and inappropriate.
