Big Dawkins fan, Chopra I'd never heard but was facinating in this vid.

One of the biggest things I took away was that we ALL have subjective expiriences (sp) so 7 billion subjective expiriences is very difficult to put to any objective tests?

Not sure I make sense even to myself ...really interesting video though

Babymechsays...

It's not a rational discussion just because two people are putting words in order. Chopra is just babbling, and Dawkins is letting him because every badly used 'metaphor' is another inch of rope Chopra is hanging himself with.

Edit: IS HE FUCKING KIDDING US? The "Quantum physics aficionados" have "hijacked" his concept of quantum healing!? Deepak Chutzpah...

Chopra's philosophy peaked in the 90s.

He and his allies weren't able to fulfill their promises... their ideas never progressed to being reproduced in reliable studies.

The future belongs to science and technology that can be shown to work, not to fancy spiritual words selling people a dream.

charliemsays...

Chopra is a hack. It boggles the mind why people continue to listen to, and pay attention to this wind bag.

He strings together sentances using large scientific words, yet entirely outside the context and meaning of what those words are to be used for.

He is the modern day hippie healer with crystals.

The man is a pure sham.
